Cavero Secure is proud to have been invited by HMG to discuss critical edge devices, and the risks they can pose to Critical National Infrastructure (CNI). Operational technology for CNI often comprises internet-enabled, miniaturised sensors with limited hardware which derive their identity from a stored credential; whoever steals the credential can impersonate the endpoint and access sensitive networks to cause real harm. Worse, with operational lives measured in decades, deployed devices will be in operation after Q-Day; existing PQC algorithms are too bulky to work on these devices, leaving a major vulnerability in CNI networks.

Cavero Secure is able to secure CNI OT using a lightweight protocol that replaces static credentials with a Living Cryptographic Identity. That identity is quantum-safe, and the whole protocol has already been demonstrated running on a SIM card.
