Leeds, United Kingdom, 14 September 2026 — Cavero Secure, maker of the world’s first continuous trust verification protocol, is pleased to announce the closing of a $2.5 million funding round. The funding includes investment from existing investors Foresight Ventures and Northern Gritstone, alongside grant funding support from Innovate UK.
The last twelve months have seen considerable progress in the company’s commercial position. It has accelerated its transition from leading-edge research to offering patented, market-ready solutions to some of the most problematic cyber security challenges today.
These solutions include continuous verification of autonomous agent identity, SIM swap fraud prevention, post-quantum protection for constrained IoT devices and cryptographically locking high-value defence items from factory to deployment. All these are applications of a single cryptographic engine, CaveroCore™, and each addresses a pressing market need with a clearly defined solution and route to market.
Jeremy Lewis, Executive Chairman said: “The business has made great technical progress this year and we have now moved into the all-important, go-to-market phase of our development. The team is tightly focussed on the most urgent security concerns of customers, bringing our software-only, easily deployable and agile solutions to bear. I’m grateful to the team for all their hard work and to our investors for their continued support in what is an exciting time for Cavero.”
